Wolfgang Baumann
likes fruit only in liquid form. Born in Mühlacker in 1978 and raised in Sternenfels in the Enzkreis district, he came to Freiburg to study in 1999. After training as a lawyer he returned to Freiburg in 2010, by way of Hamburg and Unterschleißheim north of Munich.
The opportunities and risks of digitalisation have occupied him ever since he watched Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s two-part science fiction film „World on a Wire“ as a teenager.
Samuel Fürle
was born into a fruit juice pressing company in Ottenheim (municipality of Schwanau, Ortenaukreis) in 1975. That he went on to qualify with distinction as an industrial foreman for fruit juice and beverages at the International Fruit Juice School in Geisenheim followed naturally. Beverages and food are his passion.
The idea for frutra came to him when his mother and a trader were once again shouting at each other at length on the phone, as they did every season.
